"He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love."  Ephesians 4:16

Melody makers

We are a mobile ministry group who gather on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 9:15AM in the parlor of the Family Life Center. We sing and pray in nursing homes and the homes of shut-ins who are not able to attend regular services. This is a powerful ministry and a great encouragement to those who cannot be there when the rest of the church gathers.

Handbell choir

We are a seasonal group for those who enjoy playing handbells. We meet on Sunday evenings at 6PM in the chapel. We are led by Jean Lambkin, Eleanor Holderman, and Becky Weeks.

We believe that discipleship takes place best in the context of relationships and that relationships are more likely to develop in small groups. For this reason, small groups are a central part of our mission to connect people to Christian community and help them grow as disciples of Jesus. A small group is 3-20 people from all life stages who grow together spiritually and serve our community alongside one another. The group carves out time to do life together, cares for each other on a weekly basis, and invites others to join them.

"The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."  Galatians 5:6

We believe church is about three things: Jesus Christ, people, and love. These core values mean that reaching out in love to people and serving our community are at the heart of what we believe church should be. Whether it's through FBC programs like Coats for Kids, Kids Beach Club, House of Hope, or through partnerships with other non-profits like Caring is Sharing, East Texas Pregnancy Center, Southeast Texas Food Bank, River of Life... our people serve in so many ways. If you're interested in being a part of and learning more about all that we do, simply click here to get involved
